Starbucks coffee really isn’t that great. I much prefer Tully’s, or even better yet, some fresh Kona coffee. So why, have I found myself sitting in a Starbucks for hours at a time over my vacation? Turns out their overpriced coffee is OK. In addition, they have a massive store with comfy chairs, tables, and nice soft music. I find it to be a great place to sit and read. I get tired of sitting home on the couch reading, so I pick up go to the local coffee shop and read with a coffee. So, why don’t I go to Tully’s? Because I have gift cards at Starbucks. I got tired of always being out of cash so I plopped down $25 on a Starbucks gift card that I can use to buy coffee. Happily, I have heard rumor that Tully’s is starting a gift card type thing also. Wahoo! I can upgrade my coffee!
