Looking through my blog list I've decided I have far too many Microsoft bloggers in
my daily read list... Although some used to not be 'softies, so I don't feel too bad.
Any suggestions are welcome - I'd like to find some good Linux and Java blogs... and
maybe some general tech stuff... My problem is that as I surf around the signal to
noise ratio is making it increasingly hard to find the great ones... Yes, I have Doc and Joi already
on the list ;-)
Ted Leung (http://www.sauria.com/blog/) Miguel De Icaza (http://primates.ximian.com/~miguel/) Russell Beattie [don't read him but people seem to like his blog] (http://www.russellbeattie.com/notebook/) BileBlog (http://www.freeroller.net/page/fate) The Server Side (http://www.theserverside.com/) Simon Phipps [don't read him regularly but he does seem to have a good blog] (http://www.webmink.net/minkblog.htm) Bruce Eckel [He taught me Java, I taught him about RSS](http://mindview.net/WebLog/) Martin Fowler (http://martinfowler.com/bliki)
Mine is certainly not the best blog out there but the other people on the site are great to read. You should check them all out at http://blogs.geekdojo.net. We just started the site, so we don't have that many posts but we are adding them at a pretty fast pace. :)
I hereby humbly submit my humble blog for your perusal. I promise not to suck up to Microsoft at any point and to point out all the obvious things wrong with many of your rose colored glassed halucinations. My references: Rob Glaser, Bill & Steve, Scoble and those many software mavens who have been sucked up and spit out by the ghouls of Redmond.
makeyougohmm.com focuses on technology a lot and I primarily do developement in the *nix world :) Would love to hear your perspective on my blog, even if it doesn't make your cut. I also do a live radio show every Friday at 2pm PT / 5pm ET which is on the technical side of the business for webmasters and the motto: $$ learn more so you can earn more $$

I really like 2lmc's spool: http://2lmc.org/spool. Sam Ruby's blog (http://www.intertwingly.net/blog) is a great blog for XML and syndication, and blogging API issues.
I'm using BlogX to publish my left-wing rants from north of the US border. BlogsCanada is also using BlogX as content management for our blogging resources section.
While we're not 'softies, per se, we are 'real world' small business adopters of dotnet. I've also made a couple of "Powered by BlogX" buttons that are free for the taking on my blog.

Squawks of the Parrothttp://www.sidhe.org/~dan/blog/
It's written by Dan Sugalski, the lead designer for the Perl6 internals project called "Parrot." He has a very good "what the heck" series:
